In Peru, the Andes stretch from north to south, separating the desert landscape of the coast from the tropical rainforest. Coffee grows here, high up in the Andes, at an altitude of 1,000 to 2,100 meters. The subtropical climate of the highlands, the humidity and the altitude increase the quality of this special coffee bean.
When our search for this special organic coffee from Peru was over, it was natural for us to take the same care when roasting the beans as the experienced coffee farmers do when growing them. Peru Organic is a single-origin coffee that is roasted in two parts, which underlines the soft character of this blend while at the same time revealing exotic fruit notes.
